Leve Kühl is a Berlin-based director working across both fiction and commercial formats, guided by a strong sense of emotion and human connection. Before studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, he worked as an editor in San Francisco. After three years abroad, Leve returned to Germany with a clear focus: pairing cinematic imagery with emotional honesty.
His UNHCR spot Through My Eyes received wide acclaim, winning Gold at 1.4 London and taking home three Golds and a Silver at the 2025 Young Director Award in Cannes. That same year, he was named Best New Director at the AICP Awards in New York.

Her short films have screened at festivals including Berlinale and MoMA New York, and are distributed by The Criterion Channel. She is a Torino Lab Fellow and was recently invited to join the inaugural year of Square Peg Social, led by Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen.
Working across narrative and documentary, Lucy’s work is photographic, in the sense that it conveys unique tone through a single frame. Lucy keeps an eye on the little things and captures memorable performances in heightened and stylised worlds.
